I remember four years ago when I didn’t know about the Internet age and people making money from it.
All I used the Internet was for surfing sites, playing online games, and scrolling on social media. But this all changed after I met one of my close friends who was making as much as his day job from freelancing.
I am a software developer, I code. I build software for a company and they pay me for it. But to know that I could also code for other people, design a few small features or a whole website, and earn additional money from it was eye-opening.
But what hooked me in the game was writing. I started to build my profile in freelancing and to put up some Internet presence, I wrote a small tech solution here on Medium.
And that was my first article (fun fact — it is still getting views).
After making my first dollar on the Internet, not through my freelancing, but through writing, I knew this was one of my calling.
I immediately started learning more about it.
