Inspiration is great, but it's not necessary for creativity.
In fact, many of history's most creative people have been those who just got to work and started generating ideas, without waiting for inspiration to strike.
In my life, I'm trying to be more disciplined with my routine and trying to get into the habit of writing every day, even if it's just for a few minutes. It has helped me to be more productive and creative overall.
I do this by blocking some time in my calendar especially for my writing.
