You can’t improve what you can’t measure.

This is especially true when it comes to your personal life and growth. Without a way to track your progress, it’s easy to get discouraged or feel like you’re not making any headway.

One of the best ways to measure your progress is to ask yourself tough questions regularly. These questions force you to confront your weaknesses and shortcomings, which is essential for growth.

Here are three questions I ask myself every day that help me navigate my life:

Did I at Least Bank One Win to My Belt?

James Clear says that if you improve only 1% daily for one year, you’ll end up 37 times better by the end of the year. That’s huge! I can’t imagine the gains if you keep at it for another year, or maybe five years.

But I feel that trying to improve 1% is too much to ask and puts a lot of pressure. Instead, I aim to do a single thing every day that will help me achieve my long-term goals.

It could be as simple as watching a half an hour of educational video on how to manage finances, or it could be as big as working for 4 hours intensely.
