A majority of our habits come from our childhood.

There are habits intensely cultivated in our brains. Even so that we don’t notice a lot of self-sabotaging behaviors. We repeat those actions again and again, subconsciously.

Recently, one of my close friends pointed out my bad habit of complaining. I complained about things without realizing it. I was criticizing something so much and not doing anything about it.

It made me find out other self-sabotaging habits that I have cultivated throughout the years.

After having two tough years in lockdown and making the most of it, I have decided to step in on 2022 even more robustly. So, I made a list of habits I want to drop off in 2022.

Thinking about the past

The primary reason people have mental breakdowns and deteriorating mental health is that they are too stressed about their past or too anxious about their future.

I have noticed that I think a lot about the past, especially about other people. It takes up a lot of my time and often makes me feel bad afterward.
