If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably attended a fair share of workshops, webinars, or online courses, thinking that more knowledge will somehow lead to better results.

I recall, not too long ago, attending this weekend-long workshop on advanced web development course. I was buzzing with excitement and had filled my notebook with pages and pages of notes.

Come Monday, though?

I realized I barely remembered half of what was taught. Heck, I wasn’t even sure how to implement most of it into my daily work. It was all so… theoretical.

And I thought to myself, “Why did I spend an entire weekend absorbing information, only for it to evaporate in a matter of days?”

That’s when I stumbled upon a vital realization — learning without a clear application can be a recipe for forgetfulness.

We live in an era where information is abundant, but the real magic happens when we find ways to apply that knowledge in the real world.
