Seneca

Do you sometimes feel like giving up? However much effort you put in, nothing seems to work.

If you ever felt this way, then know that you are not alone.

Life has a habit of throwing curveballs when we expect an easy one. It’s no wonder.

Things were the same 2000 years ago and are the same today. But, the Stoic philosophers had a unique way of perceiving difficulties and adversities.

We can all learn from them. They teach us how we can cope with adversities and work ourselves up.

No one is more unfortunate than he, who never faces adversity for he is not permitted to prove himself.

— Seneca

Seneca, who was born over 2000 years ago, gives us a unique way of seeing adversities.

He tells us that those who never face difficulty in their life are the real unfortunate ones.

They don’t ever realize their true potential. They don’t have a purpose. They don’t have anything to work towards. They don’t have anything to fix.

Get up and celebrate that you are a human experiencing life.
