Ryan Holiday is one of our generation’s top stoic followers.

He has written more than four books on how to live a better life by following the Stoic Philosophy and applying their lessons to our life. I can go on and on about how Ryan is a great writer, storyteller and provides actionable steps to use in your life.

But here, we are going over a list recommended by him that everyone should read to understand philosophy in depth and take some wisdom to apply in our lives. You should at least read all these books once in your life.

Meditations

Meditations is one of my favourite books. I can read multiple times to absorb all the lessons and wisdom packed in this book.

The Roman Emperor, Marcus, wrote this as a series of spiritual reflections and never intended for it to publish. He was always looking to gain clarity about himself and the world.
